She advises choosing no more than three platforms. As long as an author is engaging their audience and creating conversation online, any platform works well. Authors should try out different platforms to see which ones they enjoy most, since their audiences are also on social media to have fun. Blogging can include more thoughtful content, where authors can share their voice, but there's still a conversation from readers' comments. If there's a visual element to your book, consider usng Instagram or Pinterest.
