Combining Short Stories to Create a Full-Length Novel

Many writers don't realize that their short work can be re-purposed into other pieces. Author Chrome Oxide has used the characters or plot points from his short stories as the foundation for full-length novels. His first novel started off as a short story that was published in a Halloween anthology. He liked the characters so much that he wanted to keep writing about them. He kept adding chapters to the story and before he knew it, he had enough content for a full-length, high fantasy novel.
