Writing Bella - video

Steve Piacente shares his motivation for writing his award-winning book, “Bella.” During the course of his reporting career, Piacente had to write about some extremely tragic events. From these tragedies, he felt a deep interested in how people responded to profound grief. It makes some people close off, while others channel it into something good. "Bella," by Steve Piacente, won the National Indie Excellence 2012 Book Award and was a finalist for the 2012 Readers Favorite award for dramatic fiction.
