Setting long-term writing and publishing goals is an important step in making a career out of writing. Author AJ Baker understands this, and has established some long-term goals for his writing.
He has had some success with getting his short work published and has also garnered interest in his novel that is currently in process. His ultimate goal is to land a traditional publishing contract. In addition to the novel, he also has a couple of trilogies in the works and loads of story ideas in the queue for future books.
Baker is setting himself up for long-term success by continuing his writing education through the Media School at Indiana University, where he is learning to adapt books into screenplays. This is an important skill to have with Hollywood's interest in adapting book content for episodic streaming series and films.
