I am not sure that I understand fully, as when I listened to Jason, if you do not have visibility or popularity then getting a website is a waste of efforts, funds and time....although most of the contents if you do not know is good, It's not explained properly.
Thank you very much, this was very helpful, in understanding and grasping the marketing strategies. I was aware of most of the sub-headings, but not how to best use them to support the marketing of my book.
So glad you find this to be helpful. Our goal is to help members like you become more informed and equipped to market their books.
Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding holding a launch event. Please, What time (morning, afternoon, or evening) is best to hold a book launch event? What days (weekdays/weekends) of the week do you think is ideal for such event?
I would say, that you must think about the type of people, you would like to see attend, and how busy their schedule would be on the day you want to have your launch. Then consider the location and how busy or slow that would be during a given time, to help boost more people to come in and inquire about your event and that is targeting audience. I have no idea how long ago this message has been here, so, may not be relevant anymore, but useful.
I am so glad you are thinking about your book launch event. I would highly recommend watching this recorded webinar. Sheri Fink offers some really great advice on how to plan a Book Launch event. https://www.authorlearningcenter.com/marketing/events/w/launch-parties/7127/countdown-to-launch-planning-your-fun-and-successful-book-launch-and-release-party
Many thanks for the recommendation, Keith

I think if you want to attract attention, you got to do something wacko in public...
